This holiday season, Monumental Arts is again offering newly engaged couples the opportunity to work with a professional photographer for free. This is your chance to find out more about wedding photography, working with a pro, and get assistance on planning your wedding day!

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding – you have some very exciting times ahead!

Whether you plan a simple courthouse elopement or a 400-person wedding, the tasks can be intimidating, and as an experienced professional, I'm here to guide and educate you through the entire professional photography process to ensure you get the best coverage possible!

I believe a well-informed person makes better decisions, so I provide you with information upfront to help take the mystery about your Photography Experience! Communications is essential, and I want to hear from you to find the best way to exceed your expectations.

I also know you likely aren't sure of all the details about your wedding - and most people overestimate the photography time they need. I am here to help with that!

Planning

Once you and your fiance sit down together to discuss, please visit my online booking site at www.monumental-arts.genbook.com -> Engagement Special to find the most ideal date for you, and make sure you tell me if you prefer a studio session, an indoor session at the Gaylord Hotel or MGM National Harbor, or an outdoor session at National Harbor, Old Town Alexandria waterfront, or Ft Washington National Park.

Your Engagement Photography Experience

Engagement Photography Session: We will start the session at my studio, where we will go over your existing/known wedding plans, then we will travel to your session location together and shoot the engagement portraits. After that, you'll be free to leave.

Engagement Viewing Session: You will schedule your Viewing Session at my studio about 3 weeks after your session, where you'll be able to see the retouched images and place any orders for prints or enlargements! We'll also take some time to discuss your wedding further.

Engagement Online Gallery: Following your Engagement Viewing Session, you'll receive an email with a link to your online gallery, which will allow you to download the retouched images to any internet-ready device. You can share this link with with family and friends, as well as place orders for prints and enlargements

Bonus:

I offer two upgrades for this Engagement Photography Experience:

- If you wish to extend your session to one hour, there is a simply an additional $150 charge for the extension!

- If you would like a different location, or would like to add a location than the available locations, there is a simply an additional $150 charge for the new location!

The Fine Print:

- You must be engaged and planning your wedding in 2019 or 2020

- You must agree both you and your significant other will be at both the Photography Session and the Viewing Session

- You must not have booked/contracted a wedding photographer

- You must be getting married in DC, VA, MD, DE, NC, WV, or PA

Bad Weather - NO PROBLEM:

A weather issue during your planned date will not cancel the session, only move it to an indoor location or a studio session. The only exception to this is an "Federal Government Closed" status from OPM, or a safety issue for snow/ice on a weekend where OPM does not issue a closure.
